There is a great deal of debate and misinformation about climate change.
Temperatures are measured, perfectly accurately, around the globe and the mean temperature of the planet appears to have risen for a period in recent years. Whether it will continue to rise remains to be seen.
The cause of these rises appears to be the increased level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Whether that is the one and only cause also remains to be seen.

Who or what is responsible for these changes?
It could be that these changes are part of the natural fluctuations that have occurred in the past and will presumably continue to occur in the future.
Some people believe that human activity is solely responsible for the increase in carbon dioxide and so responsible for the rises in temperature.

The planet is self regulating. If something is threatening that stability then the planet will automatically take the necessary steps to eradicate that threat.

An individual who labels those who disagree with them as 'deniers' is an idiot. At the very best, such an attitude is puerile and at the worst, deeply offensive.

Conclusion:
Whatever the case, human activity in terms of carbon dioxide emissions, pollution in general, and the destruction of forests has never been a sensible idea. Adapt – take every possible step to reduce power consumption in the home. Reduce emissions from cars (less travel, smaller engine, as appropriate). Plant trees, or fund the planting of trees. Write to your MP and require an immediate programme of building non-fossil fuelled, non-nuclear, sustainable-source power stations (nuclear is more polluting than coal). All of these things are common sense. If you have more money than sense then by all means do nothing.
